Today I went through my closet and dresser at home and realized . . . I used to have terrible taste in fashion! I must have been poorly dressed for most of middle school and high school. DARN. I wonder if other people noticed? Or were we all about the same o_O? LOL.

Said terrible clothes consisting roughly 80% of my at-home arsenal will be on a Goodwill truck soon xD

Ahh, I love the feeling of throwing out old, useless stuff.

RANDOM THOUGHTS/UPDATES:

Winter break 2010. My last winter break as a college student. What the freak. Already?!

I finally finished my annotated bibliography for my thesis seminar class yesterday! SO LONG AND TEDIOUS, but probably not much compared to the amount of research and writing I’ll be doing for the actual thing next semester. Chinese legal reforms aside, learning the hanging indent/unindent keyboard shortcut in Word was super awesome! (Ctrl+T and Ctrl+Shift+T)

More along those lines…I REALLY LOVE MY VAIO KEYBOARD. The keys are perfectly tactile and spaced out (sort of like macs). I can see why mac-people are so crazy about their macs…

New JJ Lin album – 100 Days. Kind of disappointing actually; more filler than his previous ones, and overall less upbeat. There also wasn’t much R&B+traditional Chinese instrument fusion, which was my favorite aspect of his style, i.e. in 杀手 – creepy mv, but AMAZING  musical composition and instrumentals.

I’ve also been drinking coffee. Everyday.

Sigh. Aside from that;

I finally saw New Moon! It was a great refresher from all my econ problems. Dang, Jacob is growing on me, though I will always love Edward the most. Kristen Stewart’s severely stunted range of emotional expression bothers me so much! SUCH FAILED BELLA CASTING. But everything else was an improvement from the first movie. There was much-a-lot of fan service (for the entire female population). So many half-naked men! Hahah. Especially Jacob…he had to have been indecently dressed for like 80% of his scenes. I still found some of the romantic dialog funny/ridiculous (rather than romantic and moving), but there were things that worked–action sequencing, music selection and overall faithfulness to the book. I like that they fast forwarded through most of the Bella-moping-around-like-a-zombie stuff.

I have a new laptop: Sony Vaio VGN-NW265F

NEW BABY

My only complaint would be the processor (not Core 2 Duo, sigh). And the 15.5″ screen, which is about the same as my old laptop, except wider now with the widescreen.

Other than that, I’m happy as a clam! Which is why I’m up at 3:27am, fiddling around and installing new programs! (OHMAHGAD I LOVE MY 4GB OF RAM)

I’m done with midterms! Well, technically I still have accounting next Wednesday, but it’ll just be a few hours of studying^^. BUT MAN. Econometrics kicks my butt. I think I did better than last time…but probably not that much better :/

WHATEVS. THANKSGIVING BREAK STARTS ON WED! *giddiness*

I love the feeling right after a big test — freeeeedom! I can watch hours of tv without feeling guilty (which I did just now). I can also upload pictures, or backup my files, or start looking at Black Friday deals, or watch a movie. OPTIONS! I am so excited for Black Friday this year. I can’t even describe the feeling. Haha, it’s because I’m determined to end up with a new laptop. IT’S BEEN TOO LONG. I’VE WAITED SO LONG! YEEEE. I’m also on the lookout for a new cell phone charm.

SO CUTE. I WANT.

Anyway. I’ve been watching a new drama called You’re Beautiful. It’s like Boys Over Flowers all over again! Kind of over the top, with a stereotypical doe-eyed and innocent female lead…and yet, I still watch it. Haha. I’m rooting for the Ji Hoo-like character again; the one that will never end up with the girl. I’ve been told it says a lot about my personality :]

Oh, and new artist that I love: Jade Liu (刘力杨). Her voice is so beautiful.
